We’re having a Kindergarten book swap!
Wednesday, March 24th ~ 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Kindergarteners will get to trade in their *gently used books they've outgrown or no longer enjoy, and get to choose other gently used books! No money is exchanged - it's FREE!
How does it work?
1. Go through your child's books. (English and Spanish children's books only, please!) Select ones that your child would like to donate.
2. Use a marker to write "Donation" on the inside cover. (This way they won't get mixed up with Room 1 or library books.)
3. Bring the books to Room 1 by March 23rd.
4. Since we have many books to swap, there’s no need to keep track of books donated. All children will get to select books.
Books must be donated by Tuesday, March 23rd.
*Gently used means books WITHOUT: - torn pages or covers, or broken spines - missing pages, or pages with scribbling - stains, smells, or rippling of pages. In other words, if you wouldn’t want it, neither would someone else!
**Feel free to ask friends and family members for books they would like to donate.**
This is a great way to help others, and get "new" books for your child without spending any money! For more information or to have a large donation picked up, please contact Stacey Lloyd at StaceyLloyd@comcast.net.
