When my children were young, I bought them workbooks from Leaning Fair and they had to do a couple of pages every morning of the summer before we began our day of fun. I also made sure to read to them each day and I had them write my grocery lists, write their grandparents and their friends letters. All library books are due back May 28th. If you cannot find your child’s library book, you will be responsible for paying the fine for the book. A few things to please note-I will be stopping Home-Reading Monday, May 24th. I need to collect all of my books to insure my next year children will enjoy them as your child has. This is not to say that reading should stop! Reading is a life skill and it should be done on a daily basis. Don’t forget to make many trips to the library this summer.  On Thursday February 18th, we will have a PJ night at school. Children will wear their pj's, bring a flashlight and one thing they sleep with nightly. Please have your child wear tennis shoes as we will be outside to play. This is a fun evening for CHILDREN ONLY - no siblings or parents! Enjoy your night off.
